Where your memories are captured in the kind of light that makes them shine!

Welcome to my little corner of the world

Welcome to my little corner of the world 〰️

Hey, I’m Gill & I’m here to capture the real you.

I am obsessed with earthy tones, messy laughs, and the kind of moments that only happen after a breath of fresh air. I call Oro-Medonte home, which basically means I’m often scouting pretty fields & forests that feel homey.

I photograph all across Barrie, Oro-Medonte, Orillia and surrounding areas because I love any excuse to explore new places and chase great light!

I grew up surrounded by art, it’s in my blood (literally), with two grandparents who see the world with the same creative eyes I do. Somewhere along the way I started seeing life in soft light rays, warm colours and little details that went unnoticed by others. Photography isn’t just a hobby, it’s the way I see & appreciate the world.

From my perspective the best photos aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the ones where you’re laughing too hard, holding your loved ones close, trying to get your little ones to smile; the little moments that live in-between. That’s real. I'm here for all of it. Couples, families, singles, grads, and those of you that are obsessed your furry friend. If it’s genuine, I’m in! (especially if there’s a dog involved)

I feel most alive outdoors, and I bring that same easy energy into each session. Natural light, earthy textures and warmth; they make photos feel authentic and full of life. that’s the aesthetic I chase every time I pick up my camera.

A little background on me: I actually studied photography!

I began this journey with the intention of becoming a sports photographer in my final year of high school, where I set off to the Photography program at Humber College in Etobicoke, Ontario, and graduated in the spring of 2025. It was an incredibly insightful experience for someone like me, who has always been very creative. I fell in love with the balance of technique and creativity, and discovered more from photography than I ever expected to. I found myself falling into different types of photography, like commercial and portrait, and I didn’t look back. The whole process helped me really understand how to take an idea and execute it, turning it into something beautiful. While sports photography is still something I am passionate about, what I love far more is creating scenes that feel warm and true to you.

I also capture product photography.

This is where I can embrace my independence, my true personal creative outlet, and execute ideas in my own space. As an incredibly detail oriented individual, capturing products comes naturally to me, especially the process of focusing on textures, colours and mood. That’s what led me to product photography. I love helping businesses (especially you, small business owners!) bring their products to life through clean, engaging visuals that stand out!

Great product photography does so much more than just show an item, it creates a space where people imagine the product in their lives. Whether it’s a beverage, candles, or jewelry, I love creating images that feel polished and compelling, elevating your brand.
